The Vaughn Hand Held Programmer provides more flexibility to both utility and the installer by storing up to 10 customer schedules. The VP also allows for the programing of the Multi-Controller unit at any time and any place. In fact, the need to access a computer is reduced, unless changes to customer schedules are desired.
This allows either in-shop programming for installation of Multi-Controllers on new water heaters, or on-site programming for installation of multi-controllers on existing water heaters. The VP also allows on-site verification or re-programming of the Multi-Controller either directly from outside of the home (through the Outdoor Module). Servicing appliances controlled by the Multi-Controller System is easy with the Vaughn Service Module, which allows for temporary override of the utility program.
