Vaughn’s Hotstow Storage Tank combines Hydrastone®, the most effective method of preventing corrosion, with foam, the most efficient material for preventing heat loss.

Hotstow provides economical hot water storage. It is designed specifically for use with a tankless hot water system. The Hotstow storage system is connected directly through a circulator to the tankless heating coils in the heating boiler. As water is used, or thermostatic controls call for heat, water is circulated through the boiler coils and returned to the storage system. In this process, the system insures consistent water pressure.

For three generations, Vaughn has built the Hotstow storage tank of heavy gauge steel with seamless one-half inch thick Hydrastone lining and bronze fittings at all water openings. Hydrastone Lining A seamless, one-half inch thick lining which has proven to be the most effective method of preventing tank failure due to corrosion.

Bronze Fittings at all water openings eliminates corrosion due to dissimilar metals. No dielectric unions or anode rod required.

Dense Urethane Foam Insulation completely surrounds the tank to significantly reduce heat loss and increase energy savings (R-16 insulation value). This foam combined with heat-retaining stone allows less than one-third degree per hour. There is simply none better.

Heat Trap Specially designed built-in hot water outlet pipe preventing unnecessary heat loss.

Hand Hole Cleanout Option allows for easy inspection and cleaning of bottom of tank.
